Tashk and Bakhtegan wetlands

- Information Tashk and Bakhtegan wetlands are among the most important Iranian Saltwater habitats. The area of the wetlands are 41000 and 85000 hectares, respectively, and are located in Kherame, Abadeh Tashk, Estahban,Arsanjan and Neyriz counties. Wetlands water is supplied from the annual precipitation and the Kor River. Its small and large islands are winter and breeding habitats to migratory birds. The indicator species of these wetlands is the Greater Flamingo.
