Maharloo wetland
- Name Maharloo wetland
- Information Maharloo Lake is located 23 kilometers to the south east of Shiraz, and is a saline lake. Its area has been reported up to 24,000 hectares in late fall and winter. The greater flamingo populations stay in this wetland for breeding and in winters. The closeness of the wetland to Shiraz, makes it one of the tourist centers of Fars province.
