- Morphology Body length: 16cm. It is of a pretty color. Males are identified by the black edges of head, the head’s white center and rufous-orange chest and flanks. It has bluish-grey upperparts and buff underparts that gets paler closer to undertail coverts. The under wing coverts are red. Females have dark grey upperparts, white chin and scaly buff and grey underparts.
- Ethology It inhabits rocky hills with bushes, and usually in 1000 to 2200 meters altitudes. During migration,It is seen in dense bushes.
