- Morphology Bod length:68cm. It is the largest middle-east owl, it has long ear tufts, dark brown wings, brownish yellow chest and body and large orange eyes.
- Ethology During sleep the tufts are lowered which alters the shape of the head. Active mainly at dusk to dawn. It hunts for a range of different prey species, as big as rabbits.it is mostly solitary and it perches on trees.
