- Morphology Body length:32-42 cm. It is similar to Peregrine Falcon but slightly slimmer with longer tail. The adults can be distinguished from Peregrine Falcon by their paler head and forehead and large moustaches, the light ochre chin, red crown, white underwings and black tipped wings.
- Ethology The call is a high-pitched "rek-rek-rek".
