- Morphology Body length:47-55 cm. It is a large species of falcon, it can be distinguished from the similar lanner falcon with a white buff top of the head,and a lighter top of the head and less clear head-side patterns,a weaker moustache stripe and a less clear pattern on the sides of the head.
- Ethology The saker falcon is a ferocious hunter and frequently attacks prey larger than itself.
