- Morphology Body length:170 cm. It has silvery-white (rather than pure white) plumage and it lacks a crest, but it has long curly nape feathers and grey legs ( there is no pink color in its plumage).
- Ethology Occasionally it may feed cooperatively with other pelicans by corralling fish into shallow waters. They are gregarious birds.
