- Morphology Body length: 42 cm. Relatively large bird, with streaky sandy- brown plumage, both sexes are similar in appearance. They have relatively long tail, a short yellow bill with a black tip and large yellow eyes.in flight, narrow black and white bars on the long wings are visible. When wings are closed, one of the bars can be seen. Flight feathers are black.
